Do you already have insurance?

• If yes, please send the Certificate of Insurance or (COI) to us by email.

• If no, we suggest heading to Duuo and choosing "event". The approximate cost is $15 for a full day. Please add in our address correctly i.e. 527 Bloor St West, 2nd Floor. You can find all of our address information under the Contact Us page.

• You will also need to ask the provider to add us as an Additional Insured.

Looking for annual insurance? 

• Head over to Hub International or Zen Insurance. The approximate cost will be between $200 - $300 per year. Please add in our address correctly i.e. 527 Bloor St West, 2nd Floor. You can find all of our address information under the Contact Us page.

Why do I need liability insurance?

• If you are offering any form of activity where you collect payment then yes you will need insurance. The most common form of liability claim is trip & fall accidents (i.e. someone trips and falls during your booking and they can no longer work). This can result in a lawsuit of hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

Why do I need content insurance?

• Sometimes things happen. One case that we encountered recently was when someone clogged a toilet with paper resulting in $10,000 of damages to our unit and the unit below. 

• In this situation, the person had refused to get insurance prior and the studio went into debt to cover the damages. Our insurance company refused to cover damages caused by a third party using our studio because they could not subrogate.

Can I postpone this requirement?
